A single control surface for IoT hardware — dashboards, firmware, documentation and automation, folded into one app that doesn't look like a debug panel.
Makers building connected hardware today juggle a firmware toolchain, a separate dashboard SaaS, a scattered documentation setup, and a notifications layer that rarely talks to any of them. Plynx collapses that stack into one interface — and does it without the industrial-control ugliness that every existing tool seems to settle for.

What's shipped
- Server. Binary protocol on the wire, TCP or SSL, edge-deployable for private networks.
- iOS app. Swift-native widget canvas — buttons, toggles, sliders, gauges, RGB controls, terminals, tables, live charts — dragged together into dashboards without code.
- Web. Browser parity for users who live at the bench.
- Firmware SDK. Arduino library; adding Plynx to an existing sketch is about five lines.
- OTA firmware. Over-the-air updates queued and rolled out from the app.
- Eventoring. Rule engine for conditions, scheduled actions, notifications, and scene activation — built visually from the app.
- MCP integration. AI agents can talk to Plynx devices directly through the Model Context Protocol.

Boards supported: Arduino Uno / Mega, ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Teensy, STM32, Particle. Mixed-board projects — one dashboard talking to heterogeneous microcontrollers — are first-class.
In the field
- Greenhouse climate monitoring with live sensor charting.
- Coffee-machine retrofits with pressure and temperature alerts.
- Bench-rack monitoring — PSU control, fan control, OTA queuing.
In flight
- Android application
- Dashboard template marketplace
- WidgetKit home-screen widgets & Apple Watch controls
- Live Activities (Dynamic Island)
- IFTTT integration
